Meet your guide in Bern
Start in the old town. No long transfer, so the day is short and dense rather than spent in a car.

The old town on foot
Spitalgasse and Marktgasse under the arcades, the Zytglogge clock, Bundesplatz and the Parliament building, the cathedral, and the terrace over the Aare.

Down to the river
The Aare loops right around the old town. The promenade and the bear park sit below the cathedral terrace.

Transfer to the heliport
A short drive out to the airfield, with the safety briefing on arrival.

The flight
Up over the old town first — the whole medieval grid and the river bend in one frame — then out across the Jura ridges and towards the Bernese Alps.

Questions people ask before booking
How long is the helicopter flight itself?
The flight is the short part — the price band depends on how long you want in the air and how far out you go. Tell us whether you want the city loop or the run out to the Alps and we will quote the exact duration.
Is it noisy or frightening?
You wear a headset and can talk to the pilot throughout. Most people find the take-off the only startling part. If anyone in the group is nervous, say so and the pilot will fly it gently.
What if the weather is poor?
Helicopters do not fly in low cloud or high wind. If the flight is scrubbed, it is rescheduled or refunded — you are not charged for a flight that did not happen. The walking tour runs regardless.
How many people fit?
Helicopter capacity is smaller than the vehicle — usually four or five passengers depending on the aircraft and weight. For larger groups we run consecutive flights, which changes the price.
Is five hours really enough for Bern?
For the old town, yes — it is compact and walkable. If you want the museums as well, ask us to extend the day.
